I live with my husband, JP in fantastically hot and sunny Phoenix, Arizona. We live downtown and are active in our community - Phoenix is a great place to be, right here, right now. Because our city is on the young side - Arizona statehood centennial is in 2012 - there's so much to get involved with. And get involved, we do.

In July, 2011 I graduated and received my Registered Yoga Teacher certification from Yoga Alliance. Instead of pursuing a traditional graduate school program, I entered the Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training at Inner Vision Yoga in Tempe, AZ, in 2010 - I took my personal yoga practice to a whole new level and yes, it was transformative.

I've worked as a graphic|web designer since 1997. I turned to freelancing full-time in 2005. I've taught and tutored in design, art and sewing. Acted as an art agent supporting independent artists and producing art shows and silent auctions in Washington, DC. I was one of the original teachers at Squam Art Workshops, a blogger for Phoenix New Times, and a Phoenix New Times 2010 QuickPHX featured artist and a contributor to City Guides in the massively popular Design*Sponge web site.
